Jolly English

Jolly English workshop enables teachers to embed essential English vocabulary in their students. It will also help develop children´s awareness of the sounds of the English Language. Vocabulary is introduced gradually and the introduction of phonics concepts is systematic. Jolly English lays the foundations, so that children are prepared and ready for the Jolly Phonics programme.

Viera Machálková, has been using Jolly Phonics since 2010. Currently, she teaches Jolly Phonics, Jolly Grammar and Jolly Music in her own language school Jolly Phonics Center in Slovakia. She believes that Jolly Phonics is the best phonics scheme she has ever seen as it makes the children feel so enthusiastic and confident about reading and writing.
She especially promotes Jolly Phonics as a program for EAL (English as Additional Language) learners at the Basic Schools around Slovakia and Czech Republic.
